Spirit of Man
feature / in-production 95 years ago, Charles Lindbergh became the world’s first media superstar after his historic solo non-stop flight across the Atlantic in the Spirit of St. Louis airplane. Donald Hall, the engineer who designed the plane, has largely been forgotten despite his aviation accomplishments soaring beyond Spirit’s 60-day build. The era has striking similarities to present day, especially surrounding commercial spaceflight. The documentary features never-before seen historical pieces and rarely seen film footage restored in 4K.

The journey to finding a cure is a story of unifying researchers, families raising millions of dollars, and navigating the pharmaceutical system to release potential treatments for clinical trials. Niemann-Pick is a proxy for hundreds of other rare diseases’ paths finding to a diagnosis and treatment, its impact on families, and the potential for novel breakthroughs.
A Chance For Peace - "Solo7" Scene
feature / festival A co-production with director Tyler Batson revisiting the deadly Kenyan post-election violence of 2007 and sharing the stories of those striving to give peace a chance. Since its release, the film has become an instrument for peace movements in Kibera, one of the largest African slums and the epicenter for 2007’s uproar. Two elections have passed since production and peace has dominated the people’s response, including reformed Taliban members. Documentaries do make a difference.
SKIHAD
short / post-production A skiing culture trek through wartime Afghanistan. Nothing is certain in war, but the same is equally true during the late winter season in the northern part of the country. Besides insecurity issues, airport burying snowstorms, avalanche danger, mud slides, sketchy mountain roads, along with camel fights, buzkashi and getting high on the Silk Road are just some of the highlights.
